Cleanser and toner prepare the surface; the cream seals it; the serum is what actually changes how the skin behaves. SÉRÈNE SUISSE makes two, developed in the same Swiss laboratory, and they answer two different questions.
Elixir Gold & Caviar Serum is the glow serum. Caviar extract carries the lipids and amino acids a thinning barrier stops making on its own; a collagen-supporting peptide and hyaluronic acid give the firmness and bounce back; the gold is the finish, a light-reflecting luminosity that reads as rested skin rather than shine. It is light, it absorbs in under a minute and it does not pill under cream or sunscreen.
Youth Collagen Serum is the lift serum. Built around peptides and edelweiss stem cell extract, it is for skin that has become thin, reactive or crepey and wants density without richness. Many women own both and alternate: Gold & Caviar in the evening, Youth Collagen in the morning.
How do I apply a serum so it works?
On clean skin while it is still slightly damp from toner, before anything heavier. A pea-sized amount for the whole face, pressed rather than rubbed. Wait a minute, then seal with cream. More product does not work faster.
Can I use a serum on sensitive skin?
Both serums are free from traditional retinol, parabens and sulfates. Youth Collagen Serum is the gentler of the two and the usual starting point for reactive skin. Introduce one new product at a time, two weeks apart.
How long does a bottle last?
Used morning and evening at the correct dose, a 30 ml bottle lasts around six weeks. Our replenishment note arrives before it runs out.
