A toner that strips leaves the skin tight and the barrier slower to recover. The SÉRÈNE SUISSE cleansing pair was formulated for skin after forty-five, which needs to be cleaned thoroughly and never roughly.
Aurora Cleanser is a cream that turns into a soft foam. It lifts makeup and the day without the squeaky, drawn feeling that signals a stripped barrier. Glacial Toner follows: Swiss glacial water, niacinamide and vitamin B12 rebalance the surface after cleansing and leave it slightly damp, which measurably improves how well the serum that follows absorbs. The pink is the B12, not a dye.
Is toner still necessary after fifty?
The astringent toners of the past deserved their reputation. A modern toner is a water-light hydrating layer that calms the look of redness and primes the skin for serum. It is the most skipped step and one of the most useful.
Should I cleanse twice a day?
Yes, morning and evening. In the evening it removes the day; in the morning it removes what the skin produced overnight so the serum lands on skin, not on residue.
Are these suitable for sensitive skin?
Both are free from sulfates and parabens. Glacial Toner is fragrance-free. If your skin flushes easily, introduce one at a time.
